A Day to Remember - Weddings at the WY&CC

The Wicomico Youth & Civic Center has helped many happy couples celebrate their special day, and we'd love to help you as well!  With twelve customizable rooms we can accommodate weddings of all sizes, from the small and quaint to the large and lavish.  Our new outdoor courtyard, complete with pergola, privacy fence and picturesque landscaping makes us the perfect venue to host your outdoor ceremony, reception or both. 

Our Event Sales Manger, Stacie Desautels will work to create a seamless event for you, your friends and family. Stacie has over 20 years of wedding planning experience.  When working with her you'll receive a special wedding planning kit complete with contact information for local wedding vendors such as florist, photographers, DJ’s and more!  You'll also receive a wedding worksheet to keep all of your details organized as well as tips and ideas to make your day one you will always treasure!

Encore Catering, our in-house catering, is led by Executive Chef Larry Hardesty.  Chef Hardesty, bringing over 20 years of experience with him, leads a team of dedicated, professional staff who will be with you along every step of your planning process.  For your ease, Chef Hardesty has used his experience to craft several special wedding menus from which to choose - or if you have specific menu items in mind he can work with you to create a menu unique to your needs. 

If you plan to host 100 or more guests, ask about Encore Catering's All-Inclusive Wedding Package - The Love Bird.  This unique package gives you everthing you deserve on your wedding day, and at just under $35 per person it is sure to keep you under budget.

Want to add a pop of color to your wedding? Special effect lighting creates an overall ambiance and can be used to accent your head table, wedding cake, dance floor or any element of great importance during your event. Check out our Event Lighting Packages to add that special touch.
