What Our Guests are Saying...

Townsent Wedding

"Arlene was most accomodating, and the facility was in excellent condition. The food was excellent and plentiful according to all who attended, and the catering is realistic in expense and like an undiscovered jewel. We tell everyone that they should hold their functions at the Wicomico Civic Center!"

Policies

From the time tickets are purchased until the doors close after an event, the Civic Center’s staff strives to ensure fairness, enforce safety precautions and provide an enjoyable atmosphere to all patrons. As a result, the below policies are strictly enforced.

Ticket Limit

Patrons may only purchase 8 tickets to each show at the Civic Center Box Office, online or by phone. In some instances, group tickets are made available by the promoter so an exception is made.

Children’s Tickets

For the majority of shows, children of all ages are required to purchase tickets to concerts and family shows. This rule is in existence because of fire code regulations and to ensure the comfort of all patrons. Certain shows do make a 'lap ticket' available for children under a certain age who do not require their own seat.  Please check with the Box Office at 410-548-4911 for availability when purchasing tickets to a specific show.

Ticket Use

All tickets purchased are for personal use and cannot be resold for more than face value. We reserve the right to cancel any order we deem in conflict of this policy. Please be advised that the Wicomico Civic Center reserves the right to cancel and refund ticket orders that are placed inappropriately through or before a pre-sale or public on sale.

Ticket Refunds/Exchanges

The Wicomico Civic Center will issue no exchanges or refunds on tickets purchase at the box office, online or over the telephone. In the case of a show cancellation or postponement please contact the box office for more information.

Lost Tickets

In the event you lose your ticket to a Civic Center event, please contact the Box Office for assistance.

Line Policy

Like many venues, the Civic Center has instituted a strict line policy in order to ensure that all patrons have an equal chance to purchase premium tickets. There will be absolutely NO line ups at the Civic Center Box Office before 8 AM. At 8 AM random numbers will be assigned to everyone present and to all of those arriving up to one hour before the on sale time of 10 AM. At 9 AM a random drawing will be conducted to determine each person’s place in line. Please note that this does not guarantee you a ticket – only a place in line. Those arriving after 9 AM will form a “late line” behind those with numbers. The purpose of the random number distribution and lottery is to ensure that all customers have the same chance of being first in line, eliminating the need to camp out and ensuring the safety of all potential ticket buyers.  The Box Office is open Monday-Friday from 8am to 5pm.

Will Call

Tickets purchased online 5 days or less before a show may be held at will call until the night of the show. The person who placed the order must present photo identification at pick-up. Will Call is located at the box office or in some cases adjacent to it. Look for relevant signage upon entry to the Civic Center.

Parking

There is no fee for parking at the Wicomico Youth and Civic Center for most concerts/events. Patrons may park in the lots adjacent to or across from the Civic Center. The Wicomico Civic Center is not responsible for any lost, stolen or damaged items in the Civic Center parking lots.

Doors/Opening Time

Though it may vary, doors typically open one hour prior to show time.

Re-entry

Civic Center patrons cannot re-enter the building once their ticket has been scanned for shows and concerts. Trade show Re-entry may vary from show to show.
