Event Details

The 2017 Golden Retriever Club of America National Specialty will be held Sept. 22-30, 2017, on Maryland's beautiful Eastern Shore at the Wicomico Youth & Civic Center and nearby venues in both Maryland and Delaware. The Potomac Valley Golden Retriever Club is hosting the show, with the theme of "Paws 'N Claws" -- one of the things the Eastern Shore is known for is Chesapeake Bay seafood and crustaceans.

Golden retrievers will take part in a variety of different competitions during the eight-day event.

Before moving to Salisbury, I did seminars with State Farm across the country for years, and I’ve never run into anywhere that was easier to work with and more adaptable to make everything go smoothly. The food was excellent. The atmosphere was terrific. I got exactly what I was trying to achieve and the amount of effort on my part was minimal.
