Event Details

The Better Living Expo returns to the Wicomico Youth & Civic Center on Feb. 25 and 26. The show is presented by the Optimist Club of Salisbury and has become an area tradition.

The show features a multitude of area contractors with the newest innovations for home and garden and a fine arts & crafts section featuring the area's well known artisans.

Bring the entire family to see live performances including Carlos the Juggler, clowns and animals from the Salisbury Zoo.

Show hours are Saturday from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Admission is $2 at the door. Children under 16 are admitted for free.

I just wanted to tell you how nice everything was last Saturday for Megan and Brian’s reception. So many guests mentioned how delicious the food was, especially the crab cakes (please tell Chef Larry!). I have to tell you that the Civic Center staff was wonderful! Many guests commented how friendly and helpful they were! One staff person even brought out two bottles of cold water for Megan and Brian when they left to go on their honeymoon! That was so kind and unexpected! (They had a 1 ½ hour drive.) I even received a card in the mail yesterday from my Aunt and Uncle saying how nice the reception was and how friendly and helpful the Civic Center staff was!
