Fernando Guerrero Brings Showtime TV Back to Salisbury’s Wicomico Youth & Civic Center Friday, April 16
In the biggest event yet to hit Salisbury, Prize Fight Promotions in association with Yard Designs, Inc. and D.W. Burt Concrete Construction Company is proud to announce hometown hero Fernando Guerrero’s return to the ring. On Friday, April 16th, Guerrero (17-0, 14 KO’s) will defend his NABO Title and his #10 world ranking, live on the worldwide Showtime network. The fight will be held at the Wicomico Youth & Civic Center in Salisbury, Maryland. Doors open at 8:00pm, and the first fight begins at 9:00pm.
The action packed card will also include 5 additional bouts including the highly anticipated return of Fernando’s brother, Alex Guerrero(3-0, 1 KO) fresh off his first round knockout of Johnny Fields last month in Glen Bernie MD. This compelling card will also include Salisbury’s adopted son, Shawn “Showtime” Porter (13-0, 10 KO’s), in an 8-rounder. Porter is fresh off his NABO Jr. Middleweight Title victory on ESPN last month. Also on the card is Middleweight prospect Dominic Wade (5-0, 5 KO’s) of Largo, Maryland. He will be fighting in a 4-round bout and looks to continue his devastating knockout streak.
